About the Winery: Champagne Marguet Père & Fils is a small, family-run Champagne producer based in the village of Ambonnay with Grand Cru vineyards in both Ambonnay and neighboring Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims subregion. In keeping with the region, many of Marguet's wines are Pinot Noir-dominant although Chardonnay does figure in several cuvées.
The estate, which counts some eight hectares (20 acres) of its own vineyards, is run by fifth-generation Champagne producer Benoît Marguet who trained at Champagne Mumm and worked in the USA. All the company-owned vineyards are run biodynamically and the wines are produced with minimum intervention.
