Tasting notes: The wine has intense fruity notes of plum, red fruits, and black cherries, with slight hints of eucalyptus. In the palate, it's warm and persistent, with pleasant aromas of plum and red fruits, accompanied by balsamic hints and notes of rosemary.
About the winery: It all began in 1880, when the notary Paolo Pellegrino, a passionate winegrower, founded the winery destined to become one of the most important in Sicily. Since then, the family manages the vineyard from the vine to the cellars with the same respect, love, and commitment. The family chose to have an organic and sustainable orientation that made them become a real example of sensitive entrepreneurship for the safeguarding and protection of the environment.
