Tasting notes: A powerful shiny green gold colour with attractive fragrances of citrus, apple, pineapple, yellow plum, blossom and a fraction of chalk. Juicy and refreshing on the palate with citrus, green apples and pineapples.
About the Winery: The Cabannieux castle is a very old family property. In the "Feret" (encyclopedic directory of the Châteaux of Bordeaux) Cabannieux appears from 1874 as "First Category" and then in 1881 as "Cru Exceptionnel". In 1939 their white wines were chosen by the County Committee to represent Graves' white wines at the New York World's Fair. The pure quality has earned Chateau Cabannieux many medals at the Paris, Bordeaux and Macon contests.
