Tasting notes: Sometimes referred to as "Bourgogne de Bordeaux" because of its finesse, La Conseillante develops over time aromas of violets, licorice and jammy red fruits, nuanced with spices.
About the winery: The name of La Conseillante appears in the middle of the 18th century. It has been given by Mrs. Catherine Conseillan, who ran the estate almost 300 years before today. In 1871, the Nicolas family buy the property, which surface (12 hectares / 30 acres) and plots remain unchanged since this period.
Chateau La Conseillante is a member of the Union des Grands Crus and L'Academie des Vins de Bordeaux.
