Formed as an ecclesiastical vineyard in 1662, it is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc, although its modern history began in 1917 when it was acquired by the Cordier family.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThe vineyard is contained in a single 126 acres (51 hectare) site, which is unusual for a estate of this size. It is planted with around 60 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 percent Merlot and ten percent Petit Verdot with the typical Meyney blend reflecting these proportions.
