Domaine FELETTIG Chambolle-Musigny "Vielles Vignes" 2019

Wine Region: Burgundy - France

Grape: Pinot Noir

Tasting notes: "The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is very promising, mingling notes of cherries, dark berries and plums with hints of sweet spices and coca. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, it's lively and concentrated, with fine depth at the core and a long, delicately perfumed finish." - William Kelly, Wine Advocate

About the winery:
Domaine Felettig is one of the names that Burgundy connoisseurs would rather keep to themselves. Gilbert and his sister Christine form the second generation of winegrowers on the estate, after having succeeded from their father and founder of the Domaine, Henri Felettig. Pauline, Gilbert's daughter, has recently joined them. With a history of only 40 years, the Domaine has seen many changes from its very beginning and has expanded rapidly to reach a size of 12.5 hectares, whose 60% rented. Production is small, quality is high, as is the demand, which is why the family's wines are rarely seen outside France.
