Tasting notes: "The finest rendition of this cuvée that Felettig has produced to date, the 2019 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Reignots opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, rose petals, oriental spices, plums and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, it's deep and concentrated, framed by powdery tannins and tangy acids. Seamless and integrated, with terrific energy, this is a brilliant wine." - William Kelly, Wine Advocate
About the winery: Domaine Felettig is one of the names that Burgundy connoisseurs would rather keep to themselves. Gilbert and his sister Christine form the second generation of winegrowers on the estate, after having succeeded from their father and founder of the Domaine, Henri Felettig. Pauline, Gilbert's daughter, has recently joined them. With a history of only 40 years, the Domaine has seen many changes from its very beginning and has expanded rapidly to reach a size of 12.5 hectares, whose 60% rented. Production is small, quality is high, as is the demand, which is why the family's wines are rarely seen outside France.
