Tasting notes: The Shaman 17 Cuvee is based on a blend of several years, and the majority year is indicated in the name of the Cuvee. Therefore, the 2017 vintage is mainly represented in this edition. Its nose evokes citrus fruits, but also minerality. On the palate, Shaman 17 is full, fresh and delicious. The finish is persistent and salivating.
About the winery: Located in Ambonnay, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Domaine Marguet is one of the most atypical of Champagne, managed now by Benoit Marguet. The planet is at the heart of his wine reflection. Its flagship Cuvee, called "Shaman", expresses his need to reconnect with nature. Horses plough the soils, the vines farmed using Biodynamics and aromatherapy, and wines made with indigenous yeasts.
