Tasting notes: Nose: aromas of Turkish fig, white chocolate, and notes of prune impacted by time spent in French oak. Palate: A fresh entry and a bright, juicy mouthfeel are complemented by sweet and robust tannins. The finish is full and spicy, calling for another sip.
About the Winery: Tomero Wines is about expressing classic Argentine varietal character while staying true to its terroir. Most of the varietals are sourced from the high-elevation vineyards in Valle de Uco, 130km south-east from Mendoza. Due to its location, the old age vines and the fruit quality, it has become a valuable asset to the winery. Today, the winery is run by Carlos Pulenta.
