About the winery:
In 1979, Jacques Guérin, professor of viticulture and oenology, offered himself a thousand vines in southern Languedoc between ponds, sea and scrubland. He takes the estate's name from it: "Les Mille Vignes".
In two decades, he constituted a Domaine of just eleven hectares, a Burgundian-type estate of thirteen plots spread over three appellations: Fitou, Rivesaltes and Muscat de Rivesaltes; an asset for a goldsmith-winemaker who works on all the facets of these wines.
In 2000, his daughter, Valérie Guérin, took over the estate. Pursuing quality, she materializes her desire to create exceptional wines! As a result, the recognition of professionals and gourmets is quickly here.
