About the Winery: 1840 year. Pierre Durt, hotelier at Lit-et-Mixe in Landes, starts business in Bordeaux. At the time, he had no idea that his descendants were going to associate the Durt name with great Bordeaux wines around the world. 1870 year. The eldest son Jean first became his successor, and later settled in Bordeaux. 1929 year. The fourth generation, Roger and André, bought the castle of Moucaillo in Moulis and gave the Chamber real foundations for its development with an original culture linked to the terroir.
