Tasting notes: The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Corvees des Vignes has another tightly-wound bouquet that offers pressed white flowers and hints of lemongrass on the critic nose. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite linear, perhaps not kicking on towards the finish but rather, playing it safe. About the winery: Domaine Jean-Marc Vincent is a small estate in Santenay, Burgundy, managed by Jean-Marc and Anne Marie. They cultivate the vineyard close to organic farming and use caterpillar-tracked engines instead of heavy machines. They "tress" their vines and plant them in high density, resulting in wines of exceptional intensity. Harvest is done by hand and sorted in the vineyard. The estate is known for its traditional methods and respect for Jean Marc's grandfather's traditions.
