About the winery:
Didier Dagueneau is the fourth-generation of winemaker in the small village of St. Andelain in Loire-Valley. He created a cult following for his Sauvignon Blanc in the Pouilly-Fume appellation. In 2008, his children took over the 11 hectares vineyard. His son, Benjamin, oversees the winemaking and his daughter, Charlotte, takes care of the running of the business. The Dagueneau family makes limited quantities of wine from their small plots of land, with a reputation of making some of the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
