Tasting Notes: "The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Fonteny 1er Cru, matured in 80% new oak, has another quite opulent bouquet that is lavished in new oak and whilst attractive, this is slightly obscuring the terroir expression. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, quite "sexy" dark cherry and cassis fruit. Good tension on the finish although there is a fair bit of new oak to be absorbed." - Neal Martin, Vinous

The Domaine Henri Rebourseau is an iconic Burgundy vineyard founded in 1782. Now directed by the sixth generation, Bénigne and Louis de Surrel, they cultivate 13.6 hectares of exceptional vines planted on lands cultivated for over 1,400 years, including the highly reputed Clos de Vougeot. The vineyard is distinguished by its wines aged for 10 to 15 years, including 5 cuvées classified as Grand Cru and 2 cuvées classified as Premier Cru.
