Wine Region: Burgundy - France
Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting notes: The glint of the dark ruby colour, turning to carmine with age. The depth of the bouquet is shared between small black and summer fruits, violets, spices and undergrowth as time goes by. To the palate, silky tannins, a clear and powerful body, both delicate and sensual, full and frank with very great length in the mouth.
About the winery:
The Poisot Pere et Fils estate is the result of a long history of parentage. Coming from the same family as Louis Latour, the property was operated for a long time by tenant farming before being taken over in 1986 by Maurice Poisot. Concerned about maintaining the wine heritage and the quality of the grapes, the Poisot family expresses the complex nuances of the terroir through wines worthy of the best of Burgundy.
