About the Winery: The Priez Saint Christophe estate, nestled in the heart of Savoie, was founded by the talented and visionary Michel Grisard, who unfortunately ceded control of the estate recently; 2014 will be the last vintage he vinified.
This beautiful bottle honors Mondeuse, a native grape variety of Savoy. On the nose and on the palate, the wine exalts aromas of concentrated cherries on opening to tend towards aromas of tangy strawberries after a good opening. The whole is accompanied by a nice tension and a long finish in the mouth. The tannins are light and silky. We feel very well the relationship with the Syrah grape variety.
This is a wine of great freshness and magnificent aromatic concentration, which gives it great aging potential.
