About the Winery: Rare cuvées crafted through biodynamic mastery and a pure vision of Champagne
Among the most distinctive producers in the Champagne region, David Léclapart stands out for his full commitment to biodynamic farming and his artisanal winemaking approach. Based in Trépail, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Léclapart crafts exceptional champagnes that reflect the soul of a Premier Cru terroir, dominated by Chardonnay.
Each cuvée — L’Amateur, L’Artiste, and L’Alchimiste — is produced in very limited quantities, with no chemical additives, no filtration, no fining, and no added sugar. Fermented with native yeasts and often aged in oak barrels, the wines express remarkable purity, minerality, and vibrancy.
Often made from Pinot Noir or Pinot Meunier alongside Chardonnay, these champagnes are beloved by connoisseurs for their authenticity and precise expression of terroir. They pair beautifully with refined dishes like oysters, delicate fish, truffled poultry, or aged cheeses.
