Tastings Notes: A deep, garnet red colour with aromas of ripe black fruits alongside more savoury, smoky, herbaceous and okay notes that are also found on the palate which is round with a good structure and mature tannins.
About the Winery: The company was founded in 1906 by Jean-Baptiste Audy, and today is run by his great-grandson, Jean-Baptiste Bourotte. As well as distribution deals with a number of estates across the wider Bordeaux region, the firm also produces a number of négoce labels including the likes of Audy Bordeaux rouge and Jean Baptiste Audy Brut – a Crémant de Bordeaux.
