Region: Patrimonio & Corsica - France
Grapes: Nielluciu, Sciaccarellu
Tastings Notes: Light pink color, beautiful clarity, it reveals a floral nose with pronounced citrus notes. A very mineral attack followed by saline notes, gives way to a beautiful finesse in the mouth.
About the Winery: At the end of the 1960s, Jo Poli, a veteran of the Algerian war, settled in Teddi, at the foot of Monte Genova, the highest point of Agriate at 421 meters above sea level, to turn the page on a tumultuous past. . He throws himself relentlessly into long and painful work to realize the dream of a second life: planting vines in the middle of a desert area, abandoned by men for decades. After years of effort, he achieved this tour de force: forty hectares of planted vines. The grape varieties chosen, Niellucciu, Vermentinu and Sciaccarellu are exclusively Corsican.
