Domaine BACHELET-MONNOT Bourgogne 2021

Notify me when this product is available:

Wine Region: Burgundy - France

Grape: Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge has a pretty nose with cranberry, raspberry and a touch of stoniness. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy tannins. The 2021 has a little more backbone than other regional reds but still with plenty of freshness on the finish.  - By Neal Martin

About the winery:
Domaine Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively new estate in the Burgundy wine scene, established in 2005 by two brothers, Marc and Alexandre. Having roots in a family of winegrowers, they started their own venture by renting vines first, then took back some vines from their father in 2011 and purchased some others, reaching the current size of the Domaine: 23ha.

The eclectic panel of appellations and terroirs brings to their wines a stylistic diversity, each cuvée displaying individual attributes and virtues, reflective and true to their terroirs.

Expert Rating: Vinous 88/100
