Tasting notes: The wine presents aromas of lemon, peach, and vanilla on the nose, complemented by subtle hints of toast and hazelnut. On the palate, it boasts a full-bodied and rich profile, featuring flavours of ripe apple, honey, and a touch of minerality. The long, lingering finish showcases a perfect balance of acidity and fruit.
About the winery: Domaine Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively new estate in the Burgundy wine scene, established in 2005 by two brothers, Marc and Alexandre. Having roots in a family of winegrowers, they started their own venture by renting vines first, then took back some vines from their father in 2011 and purchased some others, reaching the current size of the Domaine: 23ha.
The eclectic panel of appellations and terroirs brings to their wines a stylistic diversity, each cuvée displaying individual attributes and virtues, reflective and true to their terroirs.
