Tasting notes: "The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru sports a very subtle reduction on the nose and fine intensity, though I feel this will require some bottle age to really open up. The palate is medium-bodied with good grip, fine substance here, lovely acidity with fresh green apple, pear and lime towards the finish. About the winery:
Domaine Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively new estate in the Burgundy wine scene, established in 2005 by two brothers, Marc and Alexandre. Having roots in a family of winegrowers, they started their own venture by renting vines first, then took back some vines from their father in 2011 and purchased some others, reaching the current size of the Domaine: 23ha.
The eclectic panel of appellations and terroirs brings to their wines a stylistic diversity, each cuvée displaying individual attributes and virtues, reflective and true to their terroirs.
