Tasting notes: Alive with vibrancy and energy, this Puligny exemplifies its class through distinct minerality and terroir expression. The precise palate achieves a beautiful balance, exhibiting richness complemented by a fine thread of acidity that frames the pure flavours of lime zest, green apple, wet limestone, and a hint of sea salt.
About the winery: Domaine Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively new estate in the Burgundy wine scene, established in 2005 by two brothers, Marc and Alexandre. Having roots in a family of winegrowers, they started their own venture by renting vines first, then took back some vines from their father in 2011 and purchased some others, reaching the current size of the Domaine: 23ha.
The eclectic panel of appellations and terroirs brings to their wines a stylistic diversity, each cuvée displaying individual attributes and virtues, reflective and true to their terroirs.
