Tasting notes: The nose is fruity with notes of black and red fruits, and a touch of vanilla. This wine is powerful, well balanced with a long finish.
About the Winery:
Domaine de la Bouissiere has been created in 1958 by Antoine Faravel. Today, the new generation took over the vineyard. Gilles is the eldest, working in the vines, Thierry is the cellar master and Claudine is the youngest in the administration.
The 17 hectars are spread over in the three crus of this area in the Southern Rhone valley: Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise.
The vines are planted between 300 and 500 meters above sea level and surrounded by the Dentelles de Montmirail, those mountains are pictured on the bottles.
