The “XXI” is a blend of the best parcels from Dagueneau, and the only wine they released in 2021. The 2021 vintage, marked by a growing season ravaged by frost, led Louis-Benjamin to bottle just a single cuvée, meticulously selected from his revered domaine parcels: Pur Sang, Silex, and Buisson Renards. The result is a unique Sauvignon Blanc experience, offering clean, subtle flavors of wet flint, orchard fruits, lemon rind, and chalk. It’s a wine to decant, as it reveals its layers with air.
