Wine Region: Burgundy - France
Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting notes: "The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Hauts-Doix, one-third whole bunch and new oak, was not touched by the frost according to Nicolas Groffier. It has a very fragrant, almost Vosne-like bouquet that is beautifully defined and disarmingly pure. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, a succinct line of acidity, extremely pure like the aromatics with a silky smooth finish that is utterly seductive and as elegant as you will find this vineyard. Superb. Tasted at the Domaine." - Neal Martin, Vinous
